The 24 will be faster on the wind with the sloop rig, but she is also available as a schooner because we know many will not be able to resist it. Indeed, the original Surprise, a Pinky schooner we knew as children, was this size and charmed everyone who saw her. This version is large enough to have a variety of interiors.  The aft cabin can contain two berths and a fold down navigation area.  The forward cabin can have a small galley, head, and two berths with a table between. There is either one cabin trunk or two, depending on the rig selected.
