This version can have a sloop rig if desired, but she's big enough to be a schooner, and we might rig her that way ourselves. A big boat for her length, the accommodations include a list of elements similar to those in the 24-footer, but greatly expanded. There is a master stateroom aft which also contains a two seat enclosed watch station in a little pilothouse not shown on this drawing, there is also a large chart table and office area to starboard and hanging lockers. Between the cabins is the engine room, with the engine on one side of the mast and a passage on the other. Note that there is excellent access to the engine. Next forward is the galley on the port side with a head with a sit up bath/shower on the starboard side, and then the main cabin containing two settees with table between.  Finally in the bow there is a double chain locker. The 36 is amply large enough to be quite a home afloat for a family with an office for two people. Once you get her built she'd be pretty inexpensive to maintain due to her simplicity.
